Week 220620

Our next exhibition will be showing the work of the Wednesday Dunlop Art Group.  Always a popular event, it will be a chance to view the excellent work of this group. You will be able to see the show when the Conservatory Cafe is open, and enjoy one of their delicious lunches, or cofee and cake.  Or maybe just do both!

Photography Competition
Our summer photography competition is fast approaching, with the deadline for entries being 24th June.  Our theme this year is “Local Colour”, so that gives plenty of scope for fabulous Dunlop photos!  As always, along with the competition, your photo will perhaps end up in the Dunlop calendar for 2023!  So make sure you have your camera, or phone, with you when you go out for that next walk.  We’re looking forward to you colourful pictures.  Any questions - phone Eleanor (07811 045600), or Shiona (07506 951620)
After the sell out screening of Belfast in May, you’ll need to be ready to book online to secure your tickets for The Duke and Sing 2.
Both films are being shown during Dunlop’s Gala Day weekend.
The Duke, (12), “A wonderfully uplifting film”. Is the true tale of an art stealing pensioner.  It stars Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren, and it’s a “must see” film....”an unashamedly old fashioned underdog tale - an absurbist struggle of the little man against monolithic bureaucracy”.  Don’t miss it!
Sing 2 (U), “a film with big dreams and spectacular hit songs.  A great way to round off the Gala weekend, it is screening on the Sunday afternoon at 3pm.

The Duke - Friday, 24th June at 7.30pm
Sing 2 - Sunday, 26th June at 3pm
